Interactive Lessons

All of our Interactive Lessons are made with connections to the Ontario curriculum. Enhance learning with interactive slides, videos, and activities. This is a unique opportunity to explore learning through our local history and our local artifacts!

Understanding the Archives

An Archive preserves documentary heritage to share fascinating view of the past. We learn what early communities and environments looked like, who lived here, and how our technologies and understandings evolve over time to build the communities that are here today. Learn more about what an Archive is by exploring the documentary heritage we preserve.

Recommended for grades 2 to 4.

Photos of the Past

Analyzing a document is key to learning about the past. To do so, we use four steps to understand an image. For this we have a MOTU.

Recommended for grades 2 to 4.
